سدرة للطب تطلق علاج تحرير الجينات لمرض فقر الدم المنجلي والثلاسيميا

  الدوحة- قنا: أعلنت سدرة للطب، عضو مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع، عن توفيرها أول علاج متقدم لتحرير الجينات لمرض فقر الدم المنجلي والثلاسيميا لأول مرة في قطر ليكون من ضمن المراكز الطبية القليلة في العالم التي توفر هذا النوع من العلاج، لافتة إلى اعتماده من قبل شركة (فيرتكس) كأحد المستشفيات القليلة عالميا المخولة لتقديم علاج (كاسجيفي)، وهو علاج جيني ثوري يعطى لمرة واحدة ويعتمد على تقنية CRISPR/Cas9 لتحرير الجينات. وذكرت أن العلاج أصبح متاحا الآن في قطر للمرضى من عمر 12 عاما فما فوق، ممن يعانون من الثلاسيميا بيتا المعتمدة على نقل الدم (TDT) ومرض...
