ولنجتون -رويترز: أرسلتِ السلطاتُ النيوزيلنديةُ طائراتٍ إضافيةً لمُكافحة حريق غابات خارج عن السيطرة على مساحة تزيد على 2700 فدان في المتنزه الوطني بوسط الجزيرة الشمالية في البلاد. وبدأت فرقُ الإطفاء مكافحة الحريق في متنزه تونجاريرو الوطني المشهور وكان لا بدَّ من نقل حوالي 40 شخصًا جوًا إلى برّ الأمان. ولكن تم تعليق جهود مكافحة الحرائق خلال الليل لأسباب تتعلق بالسلامة. وقالت هيئة الإطفاء والطوارئ النيوزيلندية: إنَّه تمَّ إرسال المزيد من طائرات مكافحة الحرائق إلى المنطقة، ما رفعَ عدد الطائرات المشاركة إلى ثماني طائرات هليكوبتر وثلاث طائرات. وقالَ...
