زلزال بقوة 5.2 درجات يضرب جنوب غرب المكسيك

  مكسيكو سيتي - قنا: ضرب زلزال بلغت قوته 5.2 درجات على مقياس ريختر ولاية غيريرو الواقعة جنوب غرب المكسيك، دون ورود تقارير عن وقوع إصابات أو أضرار كبيرة. وذكر المركز الألماني لأبحاث علوم الأرض، في بيان ، أن الزلزال وقع على عمق 10 كيلومترات في المنطقة المطلة على ساحل المحيط الهادئ. وتعد المكسيك من الدول المعرضة للنشاط الزلزالي والبركاني نتيجة موقعها الجيولوجي عند تقاطع عدة صفائح تكتونية، أبرزها صفيحة أمريكا الشمالية وصفيحة المحيط الهادئ وصفيحة كوكوس. يشار إلى أن المنطقة تشهد سنويا أكثر من 90 هزة أرضية تتجاوز قوتها أربع درجات على مقياس ريختر، فيما...
