اجتذب مهرجان «بلومنكورسو بولنستريك»، السياح والسكان المحليين غربي العاصمة أمستردام لحضور النسخة الثامنة والسبعين من أحد أكبر استعراضات مواكب الزهور في هولندا، وسط طقس مشمس.

ويقامُ المهرجانُ في إبريل من كل عام احتفاء بحلول الربيع، وتجتاز خلاله العشرات من العربات المزينة بمجسمات من الزهور مسافة 42 كيلومترًا من قرية نوردفيك الساحلية إلى مدينة هارلم، على بعد نحو 20 كيلومترًا غربي أمستردام.

وفي هذا العام، شكلت تصاميم بعض العربات المزيّنة تحية لدول مثل تايلاند والصين، وعرضت أخرى مجسمات متقنة تَمثّل أسودًا وطيور طوقان، مخلّفة وراءها رائحة زهرية. وأضاف بعض المشاركين في الموكب إلى عروضهم عزفًا موسيقيًا.
