اجتمع سعادة الدكتور محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن صالح الخليفي وزير الدولة بوزارة الخارجية، اليوم، مع سعادة السيدة بياته ماينل-رايسينغر وزيرة الخارجية الاتحادية للشؤون الأوروبية والدولية في جمهورية النمسا.
جرى، خلال الاجتماع، استعراض علاقات التعاون بين البلدين وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها، ومناقشة عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، لا سيما الوضع الإنساني في غزة، والتطورات في سوريا ولبنان، وأهمية دعم جهود تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأشادت سعادة وزيرة الخارجية الاتحادية للشؤون الأوروبية والدولية بالنمسا، خلال الاجتماع، بدور دولة قطر كوسيط موثوق لتقريب وجهات النظر وتشجيع الحلول السلمية عبر الحوار والدبلوماسية، منوهة بالجهود القطرية في إطلاق سراح الأسرى النمساويين حول العالم.
