ذكرت وسائل إعلام رسمية صينية، أن مركبة الفضاء الصينية شنتشو - 21 وطاقمها، الذي يضم أصغر رائد فضاء صيني، انطلقت الجمعة على متن صاروخ من طراز لونج مارش - 2 إف من مركز جيوكوان لإطلاق الأقمار الاصطناعية بشمال غربي البلاد. وهذه هي المهمة السابعة إلى محطة الفضاء الصينية المأهولة منذ اكتمال بنائها عام 2022. وتشمل المهام على مركبة الفضاء شنتشو - 21 مجموعات من ثلاثة رواد يقضون ستة أشهر، مع استبدال رواد الفضاء المتمرسين برواد أصغر سنًا.
