سجّلت بريطانيا في العام 2025 ثاني أعلى عدد من المهاجرين الوافدين عبر بحر المانش (القناة) منذ بدأت جمع البيانات في العام 2018، وفق ما أظهرت إحصاءات للحكومة البريطانية نُشرت الخميس.
وتفيد بيانات وزارة الداخلية البريطانية بعدم رصد أي قوارب صغيرة في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر، ما يشير إلى أن العدد الإجمالي للأشخاص الذين اقدموا على عبور بحر المانش انطلاقا من فرنسا خلال العام بلغ 41 ألفا و472، وهو ثاني أعلى عدد بعد الرقم القياسي البالغ 45 ألفا و774 شخصا والمسجَّل في العام 2022.
