أكدت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة على ضرورة حماية المباني المدنية والدبلوماسية ومقرات منتسبي السفارات وفق الأعراف والمواثيق الدولية المنظمة للعمل الدبلوماسي، وذلك إثر تعرض مبنى سفارة دولة قطر للضرر في العاصمة الأوكرانية كييف جراء القصف الذي استهدف المدينة.
وشددت وزارة الخارجية الإماراتية، في بيان، على التزام الإمارات بمواصلة الجهود الهادفة إلى إيجاد حل سلمي للنزاع في أوكرانيا، مؤكدة موقفها الداعي إلى الدبلوماسية والحوار وخفض التصعيد، في ظل تدهور الأوضاع الإنسانية واستمرار معاناة المدنيين.
