أطلقت شركة شاومي الصينية رسميًا هاتفي Xiaomi 17 وXiaomi 17 Ultra عالميًا، على أن تُطرح الأجهزة في أسواق الاتحاد الأوروبي والمملكة المتحدة، قبيل مؤتمر الجوال العالمي في برشلونة. وتعاونت شاومي مع شركة لايكا الألمانية لتطوير كاميرات هاتف 17 Ultra، الذي يضم كاميرا رئيسية 50 ميغابكسل وعدسة f/1.67، بالإضافة إلى كاميرا تقريب 200 ميغابكسل بعدسة بؤرية مُتغيرة بين 75 و100 ملم، وكاميرا فائقة الاتساع 50 ميغابكسل الهاتف مزود بشاشة OLED قياس 6.9 بوصة، وبطارية 6,000 مللي أمبير تدعم الشحن السريع والشحن اللاسلكي ويعمل بمعالج Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. الإصدار الخاص بـلايكا يأتي بذاكرة 16 غيغابايت وتخزين 1 تيرابايت. الأسعار تبدأ من 999 يورو لهاتف 17، و1499 يورو لـ17 Ultra، وإصدار لايكا 1999 يورو، مع ملحقات تصوير مخصصة تتراوح بين 99.99 و199.99 يورو.
