أصدَرَت الهيئة العامة للجمارك أمس، تحذيرًا إلى المتعاملين من محاولات احتيال باسم الهيئة عبر مكالمات هاتفية أو رسائل نصية أو رسائل بريد إلكتروني تطلب تحديث بيانات أو سداد مبالغ أو تتبع شحنات، أو مشاركة معلومات وبيانات شخصية أو مصرفية بحجة استكمال إجراءات جمركية. وأكدت الهيئة أن تلك المحاولات لا تمت لها بأي صلة، لذا توصي بالحذر من تلك الرسائل، وعدم التفاعل معها أو فتح الروابط المرفقة.
